2011 Midwest Milkmen’s Reunion and Divco Club Convention, Grand Rapids, MI
Well, another Divco Club Convention and Milkman Reunion was immensely enjoyed by all of those who attended. This year, our festivities were held in Lowell, Mi in conjunction with the towns annual River Festival event. Many of our members who started arriving on Wednesday enjoyed a tailgate party at the Holiday Inn Express that evening. Tours on Thursday and Friday were enjoyed by those who participated including, Meijer Gardens, the Gerald R. Ford Museum, the Gilmore Car Museum, Frank Lloyd Wright- Meyer May House, Roger Haadsma`s Dairy Museum and downtown Rockford. On Thursday evening our group participated in the Lowell Summer Concert by displaying our trucks for all to enjoy. On Friday evening, our group enjoyed root beer floats, music by Rich and Debra Ferguson #366 and a Divco DVD at the Holiday Inn Express conference room. On Saturday our group participated in the car show and cruise at the Lowell Fair Grounds and wrapping up our festivities was our club banquet at the VFW Hall on Saturday evening. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to John Sterly and Annie Charles for making this convention a huge success.
